The economic and political crisis in this country can only be permanently overcome with a large, nationwide labor movement. An effective labor organizer must know the rich history of labor in this country and the labor struggles occurring today around the world. You can learn much of that history at this month long labor cultural festival taking place all over the San Francisco Bay Area from July 5 to July 31, 2005.
