Info: Advocates will distribute vegetarian literature to commuters.
Advocates Forum: Documenting Animal Cruelty & The Law
Date: July 14
Time: 7:30 PM
Location: Fellini Restaurant, 1401 University Avenue, Berkeley
Info: Attorney Christine Garcia will discuss the rights of photographers & videographers documenting animal cruelty. Over a delicious Italian vegan dinner, learn how you can make a difference for animals through visual media.
KFC Feed-In
Date: July 23
Time: Noon
Location: KFC, 470 Lake Park Avenue, Oakland
Info: Outside the fast food restaurant, advocates will distribute information on the benefits of a vegetarian diet and serve vegetarian 'deli slices' to customers.
Advocates Forum: Dinner with Author Anthony Marr
Date: July 26
Time: 7:30 PM
Location: Fellini Restaurant, 1401 University Avenue, Berkeley
Info: Over a delicious Italian vegan dinner, Anthony Marr, a world-known wildlife preservationist, will speak about the U.S. Terminate the Seal Hunt Campaign. Donations to Mr. Marr's campaign will be gladly accepted.
Ballpark Feed-In
Date: July 31
Time: Noon
Location: Oakland A's Coliseum, Staircase Connecting the Oakland Bart to the Coliseum Pedestrian Overpass
Info: The Coliseum is the home to the veggie dog. Advocates will distribute ballpark vegetarian guides and serve vegetarian hot dog samples.
