We'll be joined by Chris Kutalik. Chris is the Editor of Labor Notes, which produced the Troublemakers Handbook. Yonah Camacho Diamond, Organizer of CWA 9415 will moderate a panel featuring Chris who will be joined by other Bay Area Troublemakers, some of whose stories appear in the new book. The Troublemakers Handbook is a manual for developing workers power in the workplace and in our community. Tons of examples are given with critical lessons from contract campaigns and daily shop floor skirmishes to organizing for Justice in our communities. "The first Troublemaker's Handbook was the bible of membership mobilization! That's why many CWA locals are now looking forward to using the new and improved Troublemaker's 2 when they plan contract campaigns and other actions. These books are indispensable." - Steve Early, International Representative, CWA District 1 At an historic moment when working people are being bombarded with layoffs, cutbacks, closures of schools and hospitals, outsourcing (gutting) of the economy, etc., in the richest country in the history of the world, we need to assemble an army of troublemakers with a winning strategy. Please join us for an evening of celebration, reflection and preparation. Join in celebrating the release of Troublemakers Handbook 2 with Bay Area Troublemakers that are helping to create a fighting labor movement.
