THURSDAY: Press Conference to Announce Bipartisan Legislation Calling on President to Set Plan for Beginning Phase-out of US Troops in Iraq

REPS. JONES (R-NC), PAUL (R-TX), ABERCROMBIE (D-HI), KUCINICH (D-OH) TO HOLD PRESS CONFERENCE THURSDAY, JUNE 16, AT 10:30A.M., HOUSE RADIO TV GALLERY

A bipartisan coalition of Members of Congress will hold a press conference on Thursday, June 16th at 10:30am in the House Radio/TV Gallery (Room H-321) of the Capitol to introduce the first bipartisan legislation that will call on President Bush to set a plan for beginning the phase-out of US troops in Iraq.

Speaking at tomorrow’s press conference will be Representatives Walter Jones (R-NC), Ron Paul (R-TX), Neil Abercrombie (D-HI) and Dennis J. Kucinich (D-OH), original cosponsors of the Joint Resolution.

The resolution is the first bipartisan legislation to set a start date for drawing down the numbers of US troops in Iraq.

What: Press conference to announce bipartisan legislation to begin the withdrawal of US forces from Iraq.

The troups should absolutly be pulledout, no question about the moral and ethical responsibility of doing so, BUT, the Bush agenda has no desire to do so, they want to set up a permanent military base to continue to be m effective threat against Syria, Iran and The Saudi's. Ouragenda is to keep the oil pumping and out of competing hands of the Chinese. We ultimately want to be able to pressure the entire region with our military force, that was the agenda from the Pax-Americana declaration written and signed (by the Rand corp) by Cheney and Rumsfield long before any of these goons took office.
