Photos from a protest held by family members and supporters of Julio Ayala. Ayala died in a body wrap used by South San Francisco police in April of 2005.

Pretty weak turn out. Seemsd like the good people of South SF do not feel that Julio was murdered, but died as a result of his own decisions.

Sure. Let's see.
It is shortly passed after midnight. Julio Ayala is making too much noise in his motel room. 3 cops, then 5, then a total of 13 come on site. Julio is being restrained (according to the official version) in a "body wrap". Then again according to published version, after 15 minutes, the officers notice that he has stopped breathing.
If I recall correctly, the body wrap is a devise meant to insure a recaltricant subject remains safe from harm to self and others. What really happened during these 15 long minutes? How come no officer remained at his side to monitor his condition? If anything else, there is still wrongful death through negligence.
