Arcata's Homeless Task Farce update
Arcata's Homeless Task Force co-opted by anti-homeless Bigots
The 14-person homeless task force, of which 2 persons represent the unhoused, divided into sub-committees to take on the various issues at hand.
Of particular interest is the sub-committee intended to address "human rights," including Arcata's unconstitutional anti-camping ordinance which has been recently defeated twice in court. Instead, the committee renamed themselves the "community impact" commmittee, and are working with Humboldt State University to distribute a survey proposing a change in the law to require CASE MANAGEMENT in exchange for services.

how many hotel rooms are left empty overnight?who is operating from no perspective that housing market is what denys instead always blaming poor for being the warm hearted honesty that cold hearts alway deny? redneck policies of racist sadist
Maybe the people of Arcata are just fucking tired of having all the bums hanging around. Perhaps it's time for them to visualize Greyhound and leave. Really, everybody pretty much has caught on to the "homeless" scam. No care, no cash - just leave.
That is aobut the dumbest assessment of the problem of homeslessness I've ever heard. Pathetic.
