Stop Cruel School Slaughter!

In California schools, students may be forced to watch the LIVE, brutal slaughter of animals as part of the curriculum. Teaching slaughter in schools is inhumane, unnecessary, and a waste of education funding — school systems should be teaching compassion, not violence.

Assemblymember Klehs has introduced necessary legislation to stop this practice. Assembly Bill 1685 would prohibit the cruel and unnecessary slaughter of animals in schools.

This humane measure will be heard by the State Assembly sometime before June 3. Please contact your Assemblymember and urge him or her to support this measure!
