A look at folk practices in the United States. In this class we will discuss American folk practices from around the country but specifically Southern/South-Eastern, Pennsylvanian, Appalachian and Ozark folk practices. We will discuss the beliefs, superstitions and charms of American folk practices with a few practical demonstrations.
