In coordinated effort with over 300 cities worldwide, Sacramento citizens, activists, volunteers, patients will participate in the global movement for marijuana policy reform. Saturday, May 28th,
12pm, rain or shine, people will gather at the State Capitol @ south steps for the Million Marijuana March from 12-4pm. At 4:20 marchers will unify at the rally circling the State Capitol to gather supporters and proceed down Capitol Mall Ave to the Riverfront Steps, where refreshment will be provider for participants.

Sacramento’s Million Marijuana March is hosted by Jolie Perea and Edward Brook, local activists and volunteers committed to the education and awareness for cannabis, hemp and truth in politics and media. This event has been organized 100% volunteer basis; all of our speakers, performers, activists are contributing their own personal time, and talent to the MOVEMENT. Each one teach one, and is being promoted as a peaceful protest of all laws prohibiting the adult use of cannabis plant for medicinal, industrial, spiritual, and recreational purposes.

Additionally, The Medical Cannabis Safety Program(MCSP) will meet at the MMMarch at 1:00 PM to discuss self-regulation of dispensaries & growers to ensure legal compliance and best practices. This is the first public meeting of the MCSP, and we hope to have your input and participation!! (Background: The MCSP was created by Dana Jay of Ahimsa International to ensure the quality and safety of medical marijuana, and has been featured several times on CNN for their efforts to have the Mendocino County Agricultural Commissioner certify organic medical marijuana.)
