MASS PROTEST DEMANDS CONTRACT FOR HOTEL WORKERS AT CLAREMONT HOTEL IN OAKLAND Jonathan Nack, Epicenter News Service May 27, 2005 OAKLAND – Hundreds of hotel workers and their supporters staged a boisterous march and mass picket on May 26, 2005. The workers are seeking a contract at the Claremont Resort & Spa in Oakland. The action was organized by UNITE HERE Local 2850, which has been organizing Claremont workers for three years and has yet to get the resort hotel & spa to agree to a contract. The union charges that the Claremont has refused to bargain in good faith. Local 2850 has called for a boycott of the Claremont Hotel & Spa until a contract is reached. by why are they posted to Indybay?
Is ENS using Indybay as image hosting? Do the two groups have some sort of agreement that Indybay can use ENS's reportage?

ENS loves and is inspired by Indy Media and www.IndyBay.org . We agree entirely with IndyBay's publishing policy and believe ENS is in full compliance. The copyright is relevant to commercial (for profit) news outlets. ENS and Indy Media are both grassroots movement news organizations. We are not competitors. ENS seeks to foster excellent and productive relations with as many movement news outlets as possible. For ENS, there is one love. ENS is brand new and welcomes requests for information, feedback, and other communications at info@eastbaynews.org . In solidarity, Jonathan Nack Managing Editor, ENS
