The Northern California Support Group of the International Solidarity Movement Presents Mansour Mansour, Palestinian organizer from the Village of Bid’du speaking on nonviolent resistance to the Apartheid Wall, accompanied by Kate Raphael’s video footage from the area.
In the last year, a powerful nonviolent movement has arisen in Palestinian villages losing their land to the separation wall. Mansour Mansour is one of the leading organizers in the small village of Bid’du, near Ramallah, where five Palestinians have died in ongoing nonviolent demonstrations. He has worked as an activist with ISM (the International Solidarity Movement).
Mansour is wonderful, wry, funny, committed, dedicated and is a great spokesperson for the nonviolent resistance in Palestine.
The event will also include a video by Kate Raphael, who has spent most of the past 3 years living in the West Bank , working as an international, nonviolent activist and documenting Palestinian resistance to the Occupation.
