KQED / PBS Glorifying War Again, Please Complain

Coming home to seeing US military getting glorifed with no hint of the destruction is really sick. I hate this station. Their subtle efforts at appealing to murders as well as regular people who are sick of all the lies is what makes murder possible.

A remarkable look at the transition of a ship and her crew from routine patrol to wartime. The documentary begins in December 2001 as the carrier is steaming home to California from a six month deployment in the Gulf. As events in Iraq become more unstable, the USS Abraham Lincoln is ordered to turn back. The camera captures the reaction of pilots and crew to the mission that faces them, and follows a core of characters as they carry out the duties for which they have been trained.
