Go in gate with sign Office & red bow
Door to the right is the community room

This is a community meeting of people concerned with what is happening in our libraries. Management salaries and positions are increasing while the librarians and library workers are being "reorganized" and positions are being cut.
$650,000 have been spent on untried Radio Frequency technology to track the books (and us) when we are carrying them.
The Board of Library Trustees is headed by the Director Jackie Griffin. She is unresponsive to the library workers and has hired an aid to help her who is paid almost as much as she is herself.
The board has said that they will hold a community forum, but so far they haven't located a place nor have they set a date, though June 20th was mentioned. So far the board haven't outreached to the community about the community forum. The RFID is being installed right now. The gates are up in main and each of the branches and yet the community forum about RFID is still to take place.
Please come to this important meeting if you can.
San Francisco has been successful in halting the installation of RFID.
