Citizens of San Francisco it is about time we step up to the plate and petitition the local government over MUNI.

It is my belief the San Francisco Board of Supervisors is not stepping up the plate when it comes to the issues in this city. While there busy fussing over medical marijuana and other issues that have already been dealt wiith in the past, MUNI has degraded so much that the system is quickly becoming non-useable. It does not get me from point A to point B in an normal amount of time, the drivers have become combatant, and the managers are obviously ignorant. A fare strike will get their attention.

oh by the way we won't die doing a fare strike. The cops cannot arrest everyone. Muni cannot stop running because it is our state constitutional right to have access to public transportion.

Wrong.

Downtown business couldn't function without public transit bringing tens and tens of thousands to work everyday. This is our leverage against the planned fare hikes.

If we refuse to pay, they'll run the buses and trains anyway.
