The Reasons We Are Holding This Pit-In
1. The decision by Exec Editor Diana Diamond to stop pit bulls from being featured as Pet of the Week in columns written by Palo Alto
Animal Services and Peninsula Humane Society is based on personal bias & slanted misinformation.
2. We believe that the direction of a newspaper should not be determined by this type of bias and
misinformation.
3. We have firsthand knowledge of and trust in the
skills and expertise of both PAAS & PHS to evaluate and rehome dogs of solid temperament, no matter what their breed.
