Bay Area activists defend anti-war GI Pablo Paredes in San Diego
Photos from the week of actions in San Diego to defend anti-war sailor Pablo Paredes who refused to ship out in support of the illegal Iraq War and occupation. A dozen Bay Area activists traveled south following the May 10 SF rally in support of the National Day of Action to Support GI Resisters on May 10.
Included are: (1) Photos from the "Voices of Resistance" events Tuesday, May 10 and Wednesday, May 11 featuring Iraq veterans, military family members who have lost sons in the Iraq War, and local poets and artists. (2) Photos of protest rallies and actions at the gate of the San Diego Naval Station -- "Defend Pablo, Stop the War" (3) Photos of Pablo Paredes during court room breaks (note that these were taken with a cell phone camera).
