Cammerin Boyd Memorial update

Someone called from the demonstration and said that the Office of Citizen Complaints had just communicated to a family member that they would be pressing a case against the officer involved in the shooting. I believe this is different from the District Attorney filing criminal charges, but it is a significant step because a lot of Internal affairs reviews really lead nowhere. Everyone at the demonstration seemed happy to hear this, and they were continuing their rally at Jefferson park. Earlier people who had driven seemed to be experiencing police taking down their license plate numbers and running them through the computer.

Will everyone be happy when OCC finds nothing wrong with the shooting of Boyd himself ?

One of these days the police will be obsolete. They are obviously doing things no one wants them too and this won't last. They'll stop when another one of them gets shot up by a kid with a gun.

in bellingham wa., 80 miles north of seattle, a white man was observed to attempt to attack a black man who posed no threat.the white man had to be restrained from terrorizing the man.not only that , but the cops actually blamed the black man for himself being attacked!.what the message is of these police organizations is,we can say or do anything we want to you because of 911 attacks, so you n===ers just shut up.they called me racist slurs .

Can anyone recall an instance where a San Francisco resident actually stepped up to the plate and stopped an armed attacker? How about an instance where a San Francisco resident actually put themselves in harms way just because it was the right thing to do? This kind of thing happens all the time in other cities, funny I can not think of one here. Without the police this city would be run by a select few thugs and the rest would be cowering in their rooms typing on web pages like this.

Weds March 30 2005, 5 people injured in a Bayview gang related shooting...Tuesday April 26,2005 29 Yr old mother of six killed in the western addition...She dies a block from where her Father was gunned down 2 months ago...Monday April 11,2005 gang shooting in bayview leaves 15 yr old Javon King dead.....should I go on??? Perhaps these families should be calling Maleika Parker from Bay Area Police Watch to organize a rally against ... dare I say? Black on Black crime!! Is there really such a thing?? Open your eyes people...Cops are the only ones with the right to carry guns..and if you shoot at one, guess what? YOU will go home in a body bag. Oh, thats right Cammerin Boyd is worth more dead than alive, as he was unemployed...But his Mother can sue for megabucks now that he is dead, and make sure his 6 yr old daughters (incidently not twins) can now be taken care of.
