5/5 Steve DeCaprio court date

Yesterday (5/3) the judge ruled against Steve's motion to dismiss, so he is going on trial. He is charged with 3 misdemeanors on varying prosecution theories related to either unlawful entry or trespassing. He faces a maximum of a year and a half in county jail. He needs for people to come out and show their support for him, and against imprisonment for trying to live in an abandoned house.

They are almost done with jury selection, and opening statements should begin on Thursday at about 10:30am. It will be in the same building as yesterday, in room 105: Wiley Manuel Courthouse, 7th + Washington Sts., in Downtown Oakland
