Event: In Terror, Incorporated, Italian economist Loretta Napoleoni outlines the complex web of finance that sustains terror networks, and details the sum of economic and geopolitical forces that have led to their dangerous rise. She confronts the issues of global jihad raised by September 11th from a specifically economic perspective. Shifting the focus away from the religious and cultural differences, Dr. Napoleoni examines the full extent of the West's role in developing the economies of armed organizations while providing valuable insights in the real factors dividing "East" and "West". Islamic terror groups, she argues, are shaped by real global economic forces and they have developed thriving economies of their own.
