312 Sutter St.
San Francisco 94108
Event: In Hot Property, Pat Choate (former vice-presidential running mate of Ross Perot) takes a look at how intellectual property theft has had detrimental effects on U.S. job security and the economy. Tracing the history of U.S. intellectual property, Choate argues that the copying, counterfeiting and under-pricing of American products and media by other countries continue to hurt American businesses. Current efforts to defend them are meager and ineffective.
