Earth Day at Avacado Lake
Environmentally conscious individuals, who love their planet, celebrate at Avocado Lake today. Tables and chairs set around a serine ground, while music from local bands play, like Coyote five and Green Machine. Booths were set up as well like WILPF, Earth First and Fresno Community Science Workshops. Children gathered around Earth First while they painted faces and handed out freshly squeezed orange juice. Fresno Community Science Workshops gave science demos to children on how to make Flying Birds, an
inventive way to make science fun out of recycled materials. Today's event gave way to hundreds of people who came and went from 12 noon to sundown, where many gathered at the lasting hours drumming till dark.
