Opening the Door to a World without War & Nuclear Weapons:

An Evening with Japanese Atomic Bomb Survivors & Gensuikyo (The Japan Council Against Atomic & Hydrogen Bombs)

with special performance by O’Nami Taiko Hear the stories of Japanese hibakusha, survivors of the U.S. atomic bomb attacks on Hiroshima & Nagasaki. Among the speakers is Taniguchi Sumiteru, a Nagasaki hibakusha and a longtime peace activist and organizer. On this 60th anniversary year of the 1945 bombings, Taniguchi Sumiteru, along with hundreds of activists from Gensuikyo, are en-route to the UN where they will call for the abolition of nuclear weapons.
