April 23rd! Modesto and Sacramento Anarchist Events!

April 23rd will be a day of grand porportions, as both Modesto's Earth First! Day, and the 2nd Sacrmamento Anarchist Cafe take place! If you are coming from the Bay Area, or Southern California, there is no reason to not stop and visit both events! Some carpools will be leaving from Modesto at various times to get to the Cafe', so come on down! (Car space is very limited, so bring more carpools!)

Modesto Earth First! Day: 10am-5pm. Needham Street and Sycamore Ave., at Graceada Park. Featuring free literature, journals, flyers, more! Free Food Not Bombs breakfast and lunch feedings. (Dinner will take place at near by park at 4pm). Games and fun! Really (Really) Free Market with goodies and food! Radical film showings. Shirt and patch making. Radical street theater throughout the day!

Note: It takes around 1:15-30 minutes to get from Modesto to Sacramento. Sacramento is directly north of Modesto, just follow HW 99, or I-5.

Sacramento Anarchist Cafe': 2:30pm-10pm. SEIU Local 250 Union Hall located at 1911 F Street. Featuring various radical groups and tables, Food Not Bombs free food! Shirt and art making supplies. Free childcare! Workshops on the SHAC model, resisting and understanding grand juries, North Coast Earth First! presentation, Pirate Radio workshop, local hip hop and more!
