Jerusalem Area Settlement Expansion

Danny Seidemann, an Israeli lawyer and legal counsel to Ir Amim, an Israeli organization concerned with the future of Jerusalem, who represents numerous Palestinian Jerusalemites on land issues, describes the Sharon plan for Jerusalem and the possible consequences on the ground of implementing the metaphysical assertion of Jerusalem as the eternal "undivided" capital of Israel. Dan Rothem, Director of Research at the Center for Middle East Peace and Economic Cooperation, provides maps and a look at one alternative to the Sharon plan.
