Vernon Bellecourt (WaBun-Inini)
Member of the Executive Committee of the American Indian Movement Grand Governing Council, Executive director of AIM Council on Foreign Relations and President of the National Coalition on Racism in Sports and Media. Bellecourt, of the Ojibwa Nation, has been a leader for over 35 years in the struggle defending the rights of Indigenous peoples. He will speak on the history of American Indian Movement, the recent Red Lake tragedy, spiritual/cultural genocide and the Indigenous struggle today. Also, self-determination and the right of Native people to represent themselves and an update on John Graham.
$3-10 donation (no one turned away for lack of funds)
