UC Workers Fight for Justice
UCSF workers protested on 3/24/05 and this video interviews why the workers are angry about their management and conditions. 15 min. 44.6 MB
Thousands of UC workers have been without wage increases for over three years and many others have faced cutbacks, speed-ups and harassment. This is coming at the same time that UC management has taken millions in bonuses and after a failed UC-Stanford privatization merger scam that cost over $200 million. Some UC workers must work two jobs and some even are qualified for welfare as a result of the substandard wages. This video illuminates the real view of workers who face this assault.
