TOWN HALL ON SOCIAL SECURITY

this Saturday, April 9, @ UHW (formerly SEIU 250)

Seniors, consumers, and workers are coming together to learn the facts and plan how to protect the Social Security system. Participants will find out which legislators have signed a pledge to stand against privatization, and which legislators are taking the lead in this struggle. Speakers will lay out a strategy to build opposition to privatization. Information about Governor Schwarzenegger’s proposal to privatize California’s public employee retirement systems, and consumer information on MediCare drug benefits will also be discussed.
