Update on Riders Trial Going Into Friday 4/1

Well, those wordy defense lawyer apologists for dirty cops finally
finished
their closing arguments.

Which means that those of us who didn¹t make the call for community
turnout
at the Riders Trial have another chance on Friday!


Word is that security is tight. Leave your cameras at home and wear
loose
shoes if you can.... (Homeland Security just rules, doesn¹t it!)

If those jurors are bored maybe we can liven Œem up with our presence!

I received another call from the legal community. Tomorrow is the day
to
attend the Riders trial. (They are in recess today because it is Cesar
Chavez Day).

The reason it is so important is that the jury is weary. "Uninterested"

was the description used. And unless the jury sees that the community
cares
a great deal about justice in this case, justice may fail again. With
many
community members in the court room, the attention of the jury will be
alert
and caring.
