I apologize to anyone who tried to attend the civil-rights demo on Saturday, April 2 (as below).
The info was taken from the SF Bay Guardian.
When I went to Civic Center Plaza,
there was no demo (and no explanation).
Later I phoned 291-9233 [Amnesty International],
and left a message, requesting an explanation.
-- Tortuga
Saturday night, 2 April 2005
PS:
Did they cancel the demo because of the Pope?
( If so, they should have posted a notice at the site of the demo.)
Or did the demo happen, but at some other location?
