Fight pesticide use in Oakland: Free fax action
Fight the use of pesticides in Oakland: Go to Local Impact and send a free fax to the City Council.
Momentum is building against Oakland's effort to carve out another exception to its citywide pesticide ban, this one aimed at weed reduction in the Oakland hills. City Council President De La Ignacio Fuente says he will make up his mind at the upcoming April 5th council meeting. Go to Local Impact and send a free fax to demand that De La Fuente oppose the spraying of pesticides in the Oakland hills.

Ok, then YOU get your ass up to the hills and weed a square mile by hand. Fire safety doesn't have time for this crap.
People shouldn't be living in the hills to begin with; this is the cause of the conflict. Natural wildfire is an essential part of any ecosystem where it exists, and should not be suppressed so that some selfish jerks can have homes in the hills! And if you think use of pesticides is OK, you should drink some.
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
