Stop the silencing of those who speak out for the rights of Arab, African and oppressed peoples.
Featured Speakers:
Lynne Stewart- Lynn Stewart, human rights attorney and life long champion of rights of African and oppressed peoples. Stewart was convicted on February 10th in New York for defending a leader in the Arab community. Her conviction is an attack on the Frist Amendment right of free speech, free press and petition and on the right to effective assistance of counsel.
Connie Burton- Connie Burton, whose popular radio show "StraighTalk" has been taken off the air by Pacifica-affiliate WMNF radio in Tampa, Florida because she represents the African working class and is part of the Uhuru Movement.
Omali Yeshitela- Omali Yeshitela, leader of the Uhuru Movement and Chairman of the African People's Socialist Party who represents the worldwide struggle of African people for national liberation and freedom.
