it warms my heart to see so many protesting for the right reason. however, how do we organize to demand the real answer to bring the carnage to an end. what you ask, is the answer? the electric vehicle. all the protesting in the world will not stop americas gluttony. the voraciousness of the addiction must be confronted. the addiction to oil. it must start with with admitting there is a problem. elsewise, who will protest to bring home your grand children, your great grand children, or will the competition become so fierce that generation won't exsist because of nuclear anihilation? what to do, what to do? unite and demand electric vehicles, united and demand now, before it's too la...............................

The vast majority of people in Poland are against the war - but have other priorities than anti-war protests - most frustration is redirected by the Stefan Batory Foundation into focussing on individual "bad" corrupt politicians and the satisfaction of punishing bad people, without any hope of change beyond replacing one bunch of puppets by a new bunch.
About 300-500 people (mostly anarchists + trotskist-coordinated-leftists + a great artistic group Makata - http://www.ssl.art.pl) turned up.
There was also a demo in Wrocław.

About 100 people protested in the pl/de border town of Szczecin. The slogan was "No blood for oil".
około 100 osób protestowało w Szczecinie przeciwko wojna toczacym sie na swiecie. Dwa lata po rozpoczeciu interwencji w Iraku na calym swiecie odbywaly sie podobne protesty. Ich haslem przewodnim bylo "Dosc krwi za rope".

About 150 people demonstrated in Wrocław - coordinated by the Wrocław Antiwar Coalition (WKA). A Food Not Bombs action provided soup to people.
