Does anyone keep quail as pets?

Does anyone else keep domesticated quail (NOT wild quail)
as companion animals?

I have rescued several live quail from retail butcher shops,
and I'm keeping them in my home.


I've learned a lot about their behavior,
tho I haven't yet written about it.


**Does anyone else, in SF or nearby, keep quail as pets?**

(Also if you know of any groups of humans who keep quail as pets.)
