Updates, Final Schedule, Updated Flyers for Sacramento A-Cafe THIS SATURDAY!
There have been a few changes to the lineup, but the event is going to be amazing! Come to Sacramento and enjoy the first ever Sacramento Anarchist Cafe this Saturday, February 26 from 3:00 to 9:00pm, at the Washington Neighborhood Center, on the corner of 16th and D (400 D street).
The Sacramento Anachist Cafe is a one day community event for the exchange of anarchist ideas. We will gather for an evening of sharing, learning, discussion, and merrymaking. It is a place to meet new people, talk about projects, or just wander around and enjoy. Bring friends, family, co-workers, and open mind, and a lively spirit. The A-Cafe is absolutely free to attend.
Here is the updated schedule! We will be making sure all of the performers/speakers/workshops start on time, so if you are coming for one in particular, be sure to get there early to ensure you dont miss anything.
Noon-3:00 Come early to help cook with Food Not Bombs
3:00-3:30 Food will be served, various organization tabling, and stencils will be available(bring a shirt to stencil)
3:30-6:30 Bike building and repair workshop (will be happening at the same time as some of the speakers and performers)
3:45-4:05 Zapatista Speaker
4:10-4:25 IWW Speaker
4:30-4:50 Acoustic performer John Tushinski
4:55-5:05 California Anarchist Prisoner Solidarity speaker
5:10-5:45 DIY lifestyle discussion
5:50-6:25 Ukulele virtuoso Cool Hand Uke
