Anarchy Week Events
Anarchy week is <strong>March 24th</strong> to <strong>March 27th</strong>
This year represents the 10th year of the Anarchist Book Fair where confirmed Speakers include Ward Churchill, Bary Pateman (editor at the Emma Goldman Papers), Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz (author of Red Dirt and Outlaw Woman), Peter Werbe (of Fifth Estate), Eric Drooker, and Entartete Künst. This event will be held at the San Francisco County Fair Building on March 26th from 10 am till 6 pm.
The other major events that will occur during Anarchy Week will include the fifth annual BASTARD (Berkeley Anarchist Students of Theory And Research and Development) Conference on Anarchist Theory. This event will be held at Barrows Hall on the UC Berkeley Campus on March 27th from 10 am - 6 pm. The A-cafe will be held on Friday night March 25th from 8 pm - 12 am at 225 Potrero Ave. at 16th Street in San Francisco.
Additional events include a benefit concert held on Saturday March 26th from 8 pm - 1 am for Anarchy: A Journal of Desire Armed magazine at 924 Gilman. Anarchy has just moved to the Bay Area and this party will both benefit the magazine and celebrate the first issue produced by the new collective. There will also be an Anarchy Pride March on Sunday March 27th starting at Dolores Park at 11 am.
