Founder of SOA Watch, Father Roy Bourgeois, will speak at Sonoma
State University, March 2 at 7:00 pm in the Commons.
The notorious US Army School of the Americas (SOA/WHISC) graduates
many of the most nefarious human rights abusers in Latin America,
responsible for massacres, tortures, executions, and other brutal
crimes against humanity.
SOA Watch, an independent organization, seeks to close the SOA/WHISC
through vigils and fasts, demonstrations and nonviolent protest, as
well as media and legislative work. Father Roy maintains an office in
Colombus, Georgia, at the gates of Ft. Benning, where the SOA/WHISC
is located.
Father Roy's powerful first-hand information and call to action will
be followed by a Question and Answer period.
Admission $10 at the door (Students $5.00)
Proceeds to benefit SOA Watch, Students for Media Democracy, and
Project Censored.
