South Bay/Mid-Peninsula Stop the War Event, meet this Thurs.
Come to the next South Bay Mobilization meeting on Thursday, February 17, at 7 p.m.
at the San Jose Peace Center and get involved.
3/20: 1:30 p.m. Gather at San Jose Diridon Train Station (65 Cahill Street)
1:36 p.m. The Peace Train (Caltrain #430) arrives, march to Cesar Chavez Park
2:30 p.m. Rally at Cesar Chavez Park

SOUTH BAY/MID-PENINSULA STOP THE WAR EVENT - San Jose
1:30 p.m. Gather at San Jose Diridon Train Station (65 Cahill Street)
1:36 p.m. The Peace Train (Caltrain #430) arrives, march to Cesar Chavez Park
2:30 p.m. Rally at Cesar Chavez Park
Tens of thousands of activists attending the World Social Forum in Brazil have
called for mass demonstrations against the war on the second anniversary of the U.S.
bombing and invasion of Iraq. South Bay Mobilization is working with dozens of
groups from the South Bay and the Peninsula to put on this event. We need your help
to make this the largest South Bay anti-war protest ever!
Participating groups will be setting up tables to display their literature and
engage in discussion with other activists and the general public.
We estimate the cost will be around $8,000 and South Bay Mobilization is pledging
$2,500 as seed money.
To make a tax-deductible contribution, send a check to:
