FRUIT TREE TOUR 2005: Common Vision is a non-profit that integrates concepts of ecology with the traditions, music, and art of cultures that live or have lived in harmony with the Earth. In the Spring of 2005, Common Vision embarks on Fruit Tree Tour 2005.
Fruit Tree Tour is a traveling educaitonal program that runs from February to April, from San Diego to Willits (California), and consists of 1000 fruit trees, 20 volunteers, over 50 drums, and 4 recycled vegetable oil powered vehicles.
At each location our program uses performance, music, and stories to create a springboard experience for students to realize their relationship with the Earth. The long term goal of this annual tour is to develop working relationships with teachers and administrators to integrate sustainability into the school’s curriculum and landscape.
