Israeli facist nazis Troops Kill 2 Armed Palestinians
JERUSALEM -- Israeli troops shot and killed two armed Palestinians seen approaching a West Bank settlement after dark Tuesday, the Israeli military said
The military said the incident occurred next to the settlement of Bracha, near the Palestinian city of Nablus, and both Palestinians were carrying assault rifles.
It happened one week after a Mideast summit in which both sides declared a cease-fire. Since then, five Palestinians have died in sporadic violence.
Palestinian militants said the two belonged to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades cell from the Balata refugee camp. The cell is financed by the Lebanese Hezbollah guerrillas, who oppose the truce. Al-Aqsa is nominally linked to the mainstream Fatah movement of Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas

This shouldn't come as any kind of surprise to any indybay reader who keeps up with events in the mideast. Islamic Jihad, Hamas, and Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade have not joined in with any ceasefire with Israel despite any public statements by the newly elected Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority.
In addition, their members believe that if they are killed while waging battle against the "infidels" they will be transported straight to paradise and receive their 72 willing virgins upon arrival. Their families will receive much needed cash payments for their "martyrdom", and they might be lucky enough to get an elementary school or a street named after them. Westerners rarely consider the benefits of being shot to death by the IDF.
Do the Jewish residents of what is their ancient homeland of Judeah and Samaria have a right to protect themselves from mass murder?
These 2 guys weren't on there way over to borrow a cup of sugar!
Perhaps you think Sharon should pull out all Jewish settlements on the West Bank and Gaza. Some claim that we will then have peace. What assurances does Israel have of that? Doesn't this mean advocating the transfer of Jews?
How is this different than the ethnic cleansing some accuse Israel of doing?
The Jewish settlements are often in areas of great religious significance for the Jewish people, such as the tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron and Rachel's tomb. Jesus was a Jew but he was born in Bethlehem. Isn't that proof of a longtime presence of Jewish people in the area of the West Bank?
Currently the Jewish settlements are on only 1.7% of the West Bank. This hardly constitutes a human rights abuse or any kind of threat to the Palestinian people who live there now. Let the Jewish settlements stay! If a new independent State of Palestine is formed, they can live there as part of its minority population just as Arabs live in Israel now.

This is a meaningless figure because it doesn't take into account the infrastructure that services these settlements. The West Bank is segmented off by Israeli-only roads and military check-points--these not only "take up" in effect far more than 1.7% of the W.B., they also make life inhospitable and degrading for the Palestinean people.
Nice try though.
So the Israelis bypassed those unfriendly villages. However, others can use Israeli roads. Any Palestinian may apply for a permit, and if a background check shows the person is not a wanted terrorist, they get issued a permit and can ride on those roads. Palestinian cab drivers frequently use Israeli roads.
So the root cause of the bypass roads was unprovoked Arab violence and hatred against Jews.
How many concentration camps do they have?
How many people have they killed in gas chambers?
