Meet the author of Overturning the Culture of Violence, a book published by Burning Spear Uhuru Publications (http://www.burningspearuhuru.com), that provides a summation of history and a vision for the future written by Penny Hess, a white woman who calls on other white people to see through the eyes of African and oppressed peoples.
Hess is the national chairwoman of the African People's Solidarity Committee, a committee that is led by the African-led Uhuru Movement to organize white people to support freedom and justice for the black community and for African people everywhere.
