Redding - MMJ Patient Caregiver Arrested

Justin Watt, who runs a MMJ patients' delivery service in Redding,
was arrested by Shasta County sheriffs for possession of MJ & hashish
in his car. Watts says he was picking up medicine for his patients
in full legal accordance with SB 420.

Expired tags lead to arrest

A Redding man was arrested on suspicion of possessing marijuana and
hashish for sale after Shasta County sheriff's deputies pulled him
over for an expired vehicle registration.

Justin Watt, 29, was stopped at 10:35 p.m. Thursday at Lake Boulevard
and Oasis Road, the Sheriff's Department said.

Deputies discovered three approximately 1-ounce bags of marijuana,
about 2 ounces of hashish and $1,800 in cash, officials said.

Watt was booked at the Shasta County jail, where he posted bail set
at $10,000 Friday morning, a jail spokesman said.
