updates on BAV advocacy events

Thanks to Jennifer, we will have a new monthly KFC protest in San Francisco! Here is the KFC line-up:

1st Saturday - Santa Cruz (feb 12th this month)

2nd Saturday - SF (new)

3rd Saturday - Pacifica

With the SF one, it will be different; it will travel to a different KFC in SF every month; there are 11 total so we'll be a voice for compassion at all of them in 2005. The first one will be Feb 12th at noon at the KFC on Geary between 5th & 6th St. Still looking for someone to adopt an East Bay KFC for a monthly protest...



The letter writing parties have had a change as well as an addition:

3rd Saturday - SF - Haight area (new location)

4th Saturday - Palo Alto - Bay Leaf Cafe (new time, new location)



One of the best ways to support BAV advocacy is to participate in these events. For example, at times, the letter writing parties get anywhere from 2 to 10 people showing up. So when the attendance is small, just having an extra person can make a big difference.



This weekend there is a big PETA conference, two days, in San Francisco. I will be there. If you are too, please come and talk to me and introduce yourself ... let's be a voice for vegetarianism in 2005!
