Napa City Council Race
For all those who will be voting (or know someone who will be voting) in the Napa City Council election on March 8, here is some important information regarding the candidates.
After attending the first candidate forum, we, Animal Action Network, asked each candidate how they would feel about considering a similar ordinance that SF recently passed. (FYI - the SF ordinance states that all dogs must have shelter, fresh water and nutritious food). Each Napa candidate EXCEPT ONE stated he/she would be willing to get more information on the subject. ONE candidate, Dee Cuney, stated very clearly that she would NOT consider such an ordinance because she believes that the council's time is better spent on issues other than animals.
We ask that you NOT support Dee Cuney in the March 8th election, and please urge others to do the same.
Animals need consideration, and our voices need to be heard.
