Fork Restaurant to Discontinue Selling Foie Gras (Marin)
January 28, 2005 at 12:10PM
I just received a voicemail from Scott Howard of Fork in San Anselmo (Marin.) They have decided to discontinue selling Foie Gras, however, they plan to sell their remaining stock over the next week or so (unless we want to buy it from him.)
The Marin Peace and Justice Coalition Animal Rights Committee plans to present a plaque to Fork restaurant that says:
In gratitude to Fork
for making the compassionate choice
not to serve Foie Gras.

* By the way, Fork has a vegetarian item on their menu, are happy to accommodate vegan requests and purchase their meat products from small farms.
For now and the animals forever,
Kate

Well I'll never eat at the Fork again for caving in to you guys.
I know you guys dont like the food I eat but you dont have a right
to get rid of my favourite foods at my favorite resteraunts.
I'll just make it myself.

let's see if you have the stomach for it once you have to make it yourself. The neighbors will love the noise in your back yard to be sure...
