Geary Corridor Citizen Advisory

The San Francisco County Transportation Authority (SFCTA) is
conducting a Geary Corridor Transit Study. A Geary Corridor
Citizens Advisory Committee has been formed as part of this
process. The study will likely focus on how to implement Bus Rapid
Transit (BRT) West of Van Ness Blvd.

When: Tomorrow, Thursday January 27th
Time: 6:00 pm
Where: SFCTA's offices at 100 Van Ness, 25th floor.

NOTE: THE GCAC MEETING SCHEDULE HAS BEEN REVISED..
Beginning January 27, 2005 the GCAC will meet on the fourth Thursday
of every month from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Following and participating in this ongoing process is one of Rescue
Muni's top priorities, so if you have an interest in the future of
Geary service please attend these meetings.

The San Francisco County Transportation Authority (SFCTA) is
conducting a Geary Corridor Transit Study. A Geary Corridor
Citizens Advisory Committee has been formed as part of this
process. The study will likely focus on how to implement Bus Rapid
Transit (BRT) West of Van Ness Blvd.

Rescue Muni has a deep interest in the design of this project
because we would like to see a design that is "Rail-Ready" or one
that can be converted to Light-Rail Transit without having to tear-
up the entire street again.
