On Inauguration Day, over 100 people in Humboldt County rallied at the court house in Eureka to the theme “Impeach Bush”. Speakers included David Meserve, an Arcata city council member, and other local citizens fed up with the illegal wars of the Bush Administration.

An emotional moment came when a rally participant came forward and read Cindy Sheehan’s open letter to George Bush. Cindy Sheehan of Military Families Speak Out, lost her 24 year old son Spc. Casey Austin Sheehan on April 4, 2004 in Sadr City, Baghdad.

It is sad to say it, but my home city has always been ruled by a select few, who are not even from Alabama, and who have men in prison for the most legal things in Humboldt.

It is not Bush, it is the regime. Take a look at the extortion and mandatory sentences given in the Hell that is Alabama for a simple home grown medicinal herb. 3 years minimum mandatory for one marijuana plant according to their law, and I say their law because we did not vote it in, as we can not vote.

Crack cocaine is a plague in Mobile Alabama. I would rather see a native Mobile resident smoking a Humboldt joint rather than a Mobile crack rock. (Remember to vaporize your medical and recreational herb. We need freedom fighters to be alive in 30 years, not dead with cancer.)

The regime has good and bad. They are getting worse in some manners. What can we do? Wave banners? Support their adversaries? I do not know what can be done and I look to history for the answer.

Diaspora or "The Exit" from many USA regions has already begun as evidenced by the doubling of Humboldt real estate prices in the past few years.

We are being sold out to a new mafia of third rate cut throats with first class tickets to weaponry and the keys to torture chambers, America's un-justice system.

In my vision I see the boxer spitting blood and it is the propagandized Uncle Sam, and I can not tell if he was just beat by international war criminals or bashed in the mouth with a crow bar by the regime, wealthy non-democracy or Democrat and Republicans.

Sometimes, it is easier to be dead. I think I was cursed to be from Mobile Alabama. As now all I can think of and dream of in my idle moments is demanding the government doors be open to all, including myself, and that all be allowed to vote.

America is not what they say it is, and those in control are often not even seen, only felt, like a gnawing bull dog.

The reason Eureka only allows a few plants while the rest of Humboldt allows a 10X10 plantation, is because the mafia mindset has moven in and some are making huge profits on your usage of the Humboldt flower.
