Come get the latest update on the marriage litigation from the attorneys leading the charge. Come hear the latest update on the Religious Freedom and Civil Marriage Protection Act (AB 19) from author Assemblymember Mark Leno and sponsor Equality California. Participate in panel-led discussions focused on a variety of angles associated with the fight for equality for LGBT rights including:
• Building Support for Marriage within Political Parties
• Why civil marriage is a priority for the LGBT community
• Diverse voices and coalition building for Equality for All Californians
• Strategies for fighting anti-gay ballot initiatives: voter outreach and identification work
• and other interesting panels....
This fight for equality is not a spectator sport, so come ready to see where we can plug your talents, time and energy into the work we are doing. No matter how little or how much time you can lend, we can get you involved in meaningful work! We will provide an an overview of new developments, an assessment of where we are now and the game plan for where the movement is going next.
