Emergency Albertson's Action on Thursday 12/20

WE NEED YOUR HELP FOR AN EMERGENCY ACTION THIS THURSDAY!

The grocery negotiations have reached a critical state as the companies continue to insist on damaging cuts. Although UFCW has already made proposals saving the companies over $150 million dollars it is not enough. We are at a critical point in our negotiations and our deadline is next Monday.

We need your support by joining us for an Emergency Day of Action this Thursday between 4:00-5:00 PM at the Albertson’s store at 3250 Lakeshore Avenue in Oakland. UFCW grocery workers will deliver their message to Safeway and Albertson’s: “Don’t Take Away Our Health Care!"

We need your help by joining us at this action on Thursday. The Fight For Healthcare is escalating and we need to demonstrate a good Bay Area turnout from labor and the community for the strong media turnout expected at this store.
