Imagine what life might be like if we lived under a friendly government --
one which actually tries to help its citizens.
A government that lets sick people use medicinal cannabis.
A government that wants all its citizens to enjoy adequate medical care
at affordable prices. [........]
Are we imagining some impossible utopia?
Or, does this sound like Canada? [........]
Let's put a symbolic measure on our SF city ballot, saying --
"Be it resolved that the citizens of San Francisco
would look favorably upon a proposal
for the Bay Area to become a province of Canada."
