The local community is invited to join Peninsula Peace and Justice Center and Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair Housing to celebrate the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Saturday, January 15. The sing-along festivities will be led by the terrific Folk This! ensemble and other Bay Area musicians. As we begin a new year and look ahead in our ongoing efforts for peace, justice, and human rights, we will honor the memory of one of our most inspirational leaders by coming together as a community to sing songs of civil rights and social justice. This year’s event will be the seventh annual “King Sing”, and it is always a lively and inspiring occasion. Family-friendly. Light refreshments will be provided. $7-15 suggested donation benefits PPJC and MCFH.
